Service Call Types

Service call types define the general types of work that your organization offers. It lets your users categorize and build different types of service calls. For example, service calls for installation, preventative maintenance, inspection, or repair. Service call types help separate service call information into views, reports, and dashboards.

To create a call type:

  1. In WennSoft Service, change to the Settings area.

  2. In the Service Call section, select Service Call Types.

  3. On the Active Service Call Types view, select New to create a new one or select an existing call type to change it.

  4. Choose if a problem type record is required when creating a service call. See Problem Types.

  5. Select a specific price list if you want to use it for this call type. See Price Lists.

  6. Select Save & Close.
