Appointment Time In and Out

MobileTech’s time entries are automatically created when the status of an appointment is updated to In Progress. Once you mark End Travel for the appointment, the status of the appointment is updated to In Progress. A clock icon displays to the left of the appointment ID in the Appointments list. 

Billable hours are calculated based on when the appointment status is updated to In Progress and when the appointment is marked as Complete. These entries are displayed on the Time Entry tab for the appointment.

The time entry dates and times for appointments and activities are displayed according to the date settings on the device.

Time In, Time Pause, Time Out

To time in and out of appointments:

  1. Select Appointments 

  2. Select an appointment and select:

    • Time In: The appointment status is updated to In Progress. The Start date/time is set to current. The End time is estimated based on the duration set when the appointment was created in WennSoft Service.

    • Time Pause: The appointment status is updated to On Break. The Start date/time is set to current. A time entry is created for the amount of time that you were timed in for. When you time in again, a new time entry is started.

    • Time Out: The appointment status is updated to Scheduled. The labor hours are calculated based on the time in and time out.

  3. Select Save to log your time.

After the time entry is complete, it is saved to the appointment. You can also view the TimeLog Labor entry in the timesheets list.

Deleting a Time In

If you have timed into an appointment in error, you can delete the time in if you haven't synced your device. 

To delete a time in:

  1. Select Appointments 

  2. Select the appointment and select Delete Time In.

  3. The appointment status is updated to Scheduled.
