Assign Equipment to a Service Call
You can assign or reassign equipment to a service call from the Appointment form. Only one piece of equipment can be assigned.
To assign equipment to a service call:
Select Appointments.
Select the appointment, and select More.
Select the Equipment tab. Equipment that is already assigned to the service call is displayed.
At the top of the pane, select the View Unassigned filter to view equipment that is at the customer location but isn't assigned to the service call. This filter lets you switch between assigned and unassigned equipment.
Select an equipment record and select Assign To Service Call.
If the service call does not have equipment currently assigned, the selected equipment record will be assigned to the call.
If the service call already has a piece of equipment assigned, a message pops up asking if you want to replace the currently assigned equipment. Select Yes to replace the equipment or select No to not replace the equipment.
