Complete the Service Workflow

The service workflow form is a structured digital tool that standardizes and manages the steps in completing a service appointment. It guides the entire process, ensuring consistency, accountability, and efficiency. You can use your device's keyboard or the microphone button to enter information.

The maximum image and video size (in pixels) of photos can be defined in the template properties in Resco Cloud. You can also define the number of images per row and the total number of allowed images. The images are displayed as thumbnails on the summary report.

To access the service workflow:

From the Appointments window:

  1. Select Appointments.

  2. Select Complete.

  3. Select MobileTech+.

  4. Select Service Workflow.

  5. The appointment information defaults in.

From the Home screen:

  1. Select MobileTech+.

  2. Select Service Workflow

  3. Select the appointment.

  4. The appointment information defaults in.

Complete the following:

  1. Complete each field to advance to the next field.
    Note: If a text field is not relevant to the appointment, type NA or None. Image sections do require at least one image be added.

  2. In the Recommended Fix section, select the Add Truck Stock button to open the Consumed Inventory form. Select Save on the Consumed Inventory form to return to the Service Workflow.

  3. In the Preventive Measures & Next Steps section, you can add a Quote Request for additional work. Select Add Quote Request to open the Opportunities form. The form uses the unit price from the site inventory to provide the customer with an estimate. It can automatically email a recipient, such as a salesperson or back office staff, to notify them of a potential opportunity.

  4. At the bottom of the Service Workflow form, select Complete Workflow.

  5. The MobileTech+ report is automatically created, and the image thumbnails are added.
