Labeling User-Defined Fields
Several windows in Equipment Management have user-defined fields. Before labeling these fields, we recommend you determine what data your business needs to capture.
The following windows contain the same user-defined fields:
- Rental Agreement Details Entry
- Rental Invoice Details Entry
- Rental Agreement Details Inquiry
- Rental Invoice Details Inquiry
Labeling User-Defined Fields for Rental Agreements and Rental Invoices
- Go to Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > Sales > Sales Order Processing.
- Select the User-Defined button.
- In the Sales User-Defined Fields Setup window, enter a label for each of the following fields. If the user-defined fields are not defined in this window, then the generic label is used (List 1, Date 2, Text Field 3).
- List 1
- List 2
- List 3
- Date Field 1
- Date Field 2
- Text Field 1
- Text Field 2
- Text Field 3
- Text Field 4
- Text Field 5
- Select OK.
- Close the Sales Order Processing Setup window.
