Completing the Vehicle Readings Entry Window

The fields in the window's header will auto-populate from the Service Call Entry window.

• Transaction Number
  Displays the auto-generated transaction number.

• Equipment ID
  Displays the equipment ID from the service call.

• Rental Agreement
  Displays the rental agreement number, if applicable.

• Line Number
  Displays the line number from the rental agreement.

• Reading Type
  Displays whether the reading is inbound or outbound.

• Service Call ID
  Displays the service call ID from the service call. If creating a vehicle reading not associated with a service call, this field will be blank.

To complete the tire readings:

The tire reading section displays the last reading, if available, as read-only. Once you have entered a new reading, the variance field will display the difference between the last reading and the new reading. To complete the new reading, enter the following information.

• Position
  Displays the tire position.

• Brand
  Select the tire brand.

• Type
  Select the tire type of Original or Retread.

• Reading
  Enter the tire wear reading.

• Wear
  Displays the variance between the inbound reading and the outbound reading.

• Total
  Located at the bottom of the window, displays a running row total for the previous and new measurements as well as a wear total.

To complete the brake readings:

The brake reading section displays the last reading as read-only. Once you have entered a new reading, the variance field will display the difference between the last reading and the new reading.

• Position
  Displays the brake position.

• Previous
  Displays the last brake reading.

• Current
  Enter the new brake width measurement.

• Wear
  Displays the variance between the new reading and the previous reading.

To complete reefer readings

The reefer section displays the outbound reading for fuel and hours as read-only. Once you have entered a new inbound reading, the wear field will display the variance between the last reading and the new reading.

• Previous
  Displays the last fuel or hour reading.

• Current
  Enter the new fuel or hour reading

• Wear
  Displays the variance between the new reading and the previous reading.

Buttons on this window:

• Save
  Saves the document.

• Delete
  Deletes the document, however you can only delete readings entered in this window and the readings cannot be committed.

• Commit
  Commits the transactions and generates the miscellaneous line entries in Rental Agreement Entry.
