Use the Labor step to manage labor timers and manual labor entries for the current appointment.
Start and Stop a Labor Timer
Use Labor Time Log needs to be enabled in Mobile Settings in FORGE for the time in/out options to display.

Open the workflow step that contains Labor.

Select Time In.

Allow the timer to run while you perform the work.

Select Time Out when the work period ends.

Complete any required fields presented by the form.

Save the labor activity.

Confirm the labor history shows the entry.
Create a Manual Labor Entry from the Workflow

Open the Labor history area.

Select + New Entry.

Review the read-only Service Call and Appointment context.

Enter Date and Duration, or the displayed clock-time fields when that capture mode is enabled.
Editable Duration fields use decimal hours. Enter 1.5 for 90 minutes. Display-only totals use compact hours/minutes such as 1h 30m.

Select an active Rate Category if a default is not already applied.

Select Cost Category when the field is present.

Enter Notes when needed.

Select the Save action. The app returns to the same workflow step.
Add a Reimbursement
This action appears only when reimbursements are enabled for the step.

Open the step's reimbursement entry action or the Reimbursements section in a combined Travel/Labor time step.

Select New Entry.

Enter Date and Amount.

Select an active reimbursement Rate Category when required.

Save the entry.

Edit it only while its status is Open. Submitted and Approved reimbursement entries are locked.
