Link a Resource to an Azuga Vehicle

Resources must be linked to Azuga vehicles so telematics updates can be tied to the correct people or vehicles.

To link a resource to an Azuga vehicle:

1. Open Resources.

2. Open the resource you want to link.

3. Turn on Active Telematics Resource.

4. Select Fetch Vehicles if the list is not already loaded.

5. Complete the following fields.

   • Active Telematics Resource (Required for telematics tracking): Turn this on to mark the resource as telematics-enabled.

   • Vehicle (Required when Active Telematics Resource is selected): Choose the Azuga vehicle to link to the resource.

   • Trackee Name: Displays the selected vehicle name.

   • User Name: Displays the selected Azuga user name.

   • VIN: Displays the vehicle VIN (vehicle information number) when available.

   • Trackee ID: Stores the identifier used for telematics updates.

6. Save the resource.

Key Rules

• Active Telematics Resource cannot be used unless telematics is enabled in WennSoft Registration.

• A vehicle must be selected before saving a resource marked as an active telematics resource.

• Selecting a vehicle stores the telematics identifiers for that resource.
