Use this guide to learn how to create and edit equipment records, review equipment history, and understand the current delete limitations in the application.

Workflow Overview

  1. Open Equipment.

  2. Create a new equipment record for the correct customer location.

  3. Complete the required identity and classification fields.

  4. Add serial, model, installation, and warranty details as needed.

  5. Save the equipment record.

  6. Reopen the equipment later to update details or review service call history.

 Understand Equipment Records

Equipment records represent assets serviced at customer locations.

  • Track serviced assets by customer and location.

  • Capture equipment type, manufacturer, serial number, and model.

  • Record installation and warranty dates.

  • Review related service call history from the equipment record.
