Salespersons

The Salespersons setting stores the salespeople your company wants available for selection in related workflows such as jobs.

View Salespersons Dashboard

Use the Salespersons list to review the current setup before adding or changing records.

To view the Salespersons dashboard:

  1. Open Salespersons.

  2. View the following:

    • Salesperson Name: The combined first and last name.

    • User: The linked application user when one is assigned.

    • Email: The salesperson email address when provided.

    • Active: Whether the salesperson record is active.

Create a New Salesperson

Create a new salesperson to make them available for future selection in Settings-supported workflows.

 To create a salesperson record:

  1. Open Salespersons.

  2. Select New.

  3. Complete the salesperson fields.

    • User (Optional): Select an application user if this salesperson should be linked to a user account.

      • Use the User field when the salesperson already has an application user account.

      • Leave the User field blank when the salesperson should exist only as a reference record.

    • First Name (Required): Enter the salesperson first name.

    • Last Name (Required): Enter the salesperson last name.

    • Email (Optional): Enter the salesperson email address.

    • Active (Optional but recommended): Leave selected when the salesperson should be available for normal use.

  4. Select Save.

Edit an Existing Salesperson

Update a salesperson record when name, email, linked user, or active status changes.

To edit an existing salesperson record:

  1. Open Salespersons.

  2. Select the salesperson from the list.

  3. Update the fields you need to change. 

  4. Select Save.
