Mobile Settings control the default values and technician options used by MobileTech. Administrators configure company and business-unit defaults in the web app.
Accessing Mobile Settings

In Settings, select Mobile Settings.

Complete the following sections.

Select Save when finished.
Travel Settings
In the Travel Settings section, select the following:

Default Travel Rate Category: The default rate category used for technician travel time.

Default Mileage Inventory Item: The service product used for travel-related posting.
Labor Settings
In the Labor Settings section, select the following:

Default Labor Rate Category: The default rate category used for technician labor time.

Default Labor Product: The service product used for labor-related posting.
Appointment Settings
In the Appointment Settings section, select the default Unassigned Technician resource for mobile scheduling flows.
Inventory/Expense Settings
In the Inventory/Expense Settings section, configure inventory and expense defaults.

Default Inventory Cost Category: The default cost category used when technicians add inventory items in the Mobile PWA cost step.

Default Non Inventory Cost Category: The default cost category used when technicians add non-inventory expenses in the Mobile PWA cost step.

Default Service Cost Category: The default cost category used when technicians add service expenses in the Mobile PWA cost step.
Time Track Settings
In the Time Track Settings section, you can decide if technicians can edit Time In and Time Out values or total labor hours on mobile time logs. Both lock settings are enabled by default.
Configure the following options:

Time Log Lock Time In Time Out: When enabled, technicians cannot change Time In and Time Out values while editing mobile time logs.

Time Log Lock Labor Hours: When enabled, technicians cannot change the total labor hours value while editing mobile time logs.
Cost Settings
In the Cost Settings section, you can configure cost override settings. Allow only the values technicians should be able to change in the field.
Inventory

Allow tech to change service call cost unit price: Allows technicians to change unit price for inventory service call costs.

Allow tech to change service call cost unit cost: Allows technicians to change unit cost for inventory service call costs.
Non Inventory/Service

Allow tech to change service call cost unit price: Allows technicians to change unit prices for non-inventory and service call costs.
