Navigate Signature Portal Security
Signature Portal Security uses a tree view design, which lets you select items in the left navigation pane and view them in the right display pane. When you select an item in the tree view, the right pane displays the selected content. For example, it might display the content for Data > objects or Visual > web pages/panes.
The fields in the display pane are empty until you create a security group and set up permissions for the properties of an object.
The following illustration contains a group that has already been created and its associated properties for a sample data object.
These items are available in the tree view (the left navigation pane).

Security > Visual | Determine which properties to display on the portal pages for each security group. |
Security > Exceptions | For specific users, set exceptions to the permissions that are assigned to the security group. |
Settings | Capture customer page sign-in attempts that were successful or unsuccessful. |
Browser | View portal pages directly from within Signature Portal Security. The pages open in the display area. |
