Setting up Equipment Profitability

In this essential part of the account analysis setup, you specify the analysis group to use for equipment, rental agreements, and maintenance work orders.

  1. Select Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > Equipment > Profitability > Profitability Setup.

  2. Complete the following fields:Equipment MDA Group IDEnter or select an analysis group for the equipment MDA group ID.Rental MDA Group IDEnter or select an analysis group for the rental MDA group ID.Maintenance MDA Group IDEnter or select an analysis group for the maintenance MDA group ID.Default MDA AmountsIf you specify to use the default MDA amounts, profitability amounts will appear automatically on transactions. You may decide not to automatically use the profitability amount if you want users to enter amounts for checking purposes.

  3. Select OK.
