Frequently Asked Questions

What are Open Discussions?

Open Discussions are biweekly meetings between WennSoft customers and the WennSoft product-development team where we discuss topics related to your businesses and our products, such as "Quoting in the Field", "Customer Hub", "Certified Payroll", and so on.

Why hold Open Discussions?

We want to use Open Discussions to better align our product roadmaps with what you want for the future of our products. So, to help guide future development, we're holding Open Discussions to provide you with frequent, low-commitment, easily accessible opportunities to share your thoughts with us. We want to build the things you want. Open Discussions give you more opportunities to share those things with us, and they give us more opportunities to listen to you.

How do Open Discussions work?

Each Open Discussion is a conversation lasting 60 minutes. These meetings are open to any WennSoft customer. We'll be there for the full hour, but there's no obligation for you to show up exactly when we start or to stay until the end of the discussion or even to show up at all. You can come to as many or as few of these as you'd like and engage as much or as little as you'd like.

How can I participate in Open Discussions?

Open Discussions are customer-driven, so we encourage you to bring your questions, concerns, suggestions, and other thoughts you'd like to share related to the discussion topics. We'll occasionally have demos, updates, and other info we'll share with you. But we mostly see Open Discussions as your chance to talk and our chance to listen. That said, if you'd like to join just to listen to the conversation, that works, too.

How can I attend an Open Discussion?

To attend a particular Open Discussion, you need to register using its individual registration page. Registration page links are included in the monthly Open Discussion emails and can also be viewed at Discussion Schedule. After registering, you'll receive a meeting invite (from Volaris, our parent company) that will include the meeting link.

What if I can't make an Open Discussion?

If you can't make an Open Discussion, or if you'd prefer to talk with us one-on-one about any of these topics, we're always happy to make time to separately meet with you. You can reach out to our Product Manager (justin.neal@wennsoft.com) or to your CSM to arrange that.

How can I add someone to the Open Discussion mailing list?

You can reach out to me with anyone you'd like to add to the mailing list. I'll ensure they receive these emails going forward.

Can I suggest topics for future Open Discussions?

If you have any topics, demos, or anything else you'd like us to cover in an Open Discussion, please let us know! You can reach out to our Product Manager (justin.neal@wennsoft.com) to share your ideas for future discussions.

How can I view recordings of Open Discussions?

When you're registered for an Open Discussion, you'll receive an email after the meeting that will include a link to the meeting recording. If you'd like access to the recording of a meeting you weren't registered for, please reach out to our Product Manager (justin.neal@wennsoft.com).

How else can I share my input on future development?

We're increasingly drawing from our Ideas Portal to determine what we should develop and how we should prioritize our work. Many ideas from the portal will be included as features and enhancements in our 2024 release, and in 2025, we'd like to draw from the portal even more. Ideas and votes in the portal will increasingly inform our Open Discussion schedule and our roadmaps going forward.

If you'd like to contribute, vote on, and comment on ideas in our Ideas Portal, please reach out to our Product Manager (justin.neal@wennsoft.com) directly so that we can get you an invite to our Ideas Portal.

What if I have other questions?

If you have any questions about anything we haven't covered here, please reach out to our Product Manager (justin.neal@wennsoft.com) or to your CSM. We'd enjoy hearing from you!
