What’s New
Updated Map Drawing API for Google Maps
Google is retiring its map drawing library, which was deprecated in August 2025 and will be fully removed in May 2026. To ensure a smooth transition and continue providing dependable drawing tools, we are moving to Terra Draw—a modern and flexible alternative recommended as the Google library reaches end of life.
The Map View experience in Google Maps will remain unchanged. However, some icons on the map may look different.
