Create Time Entry for Job Labor w/o Appointment
You can create a time entry for job labor without associating the time with a specific job appointment.
A Job Labor Time Entry can be created from Time Entries or from the Job List.
From Time Entries: Select Time Entries. Select the menu icon, and then select Add Job Entry.
From the Job List: Select Jobs. Select the job and then select Add Time Entry or you can select the clock icon in the top right corner and proceed with the following:
Select the Job.
DEVICE MODE: Displays jobs on your device.
SERVER MODE: You can search on the server for a job. This option requires an internet connection.
Select an entry type and enter information in the appropriate fields. (*Required field)
Entry Type: Defaults to Labor, however, you may be able to select Expense or Travel, depending on your company’s setup.
Employee: Your employee ID.
If UseTechnicianHelper is set to True in Mobile Device Global Settings, you can enter time entries for technician helpers. When using the employee lookup, you can search by department and position.
Date: The system date is the default date for this transaction. You can select a different date within the Previous Week or Current Week. Depending on your company's settings, you may not be able to create or edit time entries for the previous week.
*Hours: Enter the number of hours for this transaction.
*Cost Code: Select the Job cost code to use for the time entry. Depending on the setup, a cost code might be displayed by default. You can change this value.
*Pay Code: Select the pay code to use for the time entry. A billed pay code for the job might be displayed by default depending on the setup. You can change this value.
Description: If necessary, enter a description of the labor that was performed.
Select Save.
