Setting up a Connect integration

Obtaining the Connect Integration Key

The Connect Integration Key is found in Connect on the Edit Users/Roles window on the Roles tab. 

  1. In Connect, choose the Menu icon in the top right corner.
  2. Choose Edit Users/Roles.
  3. In the Edit Users/Roles window, on the Roles tab, choose the Administrator role.

    The API key is linked to a role so that access can be restricted from the ESMS or integration layer.

  4. Choose the Edit button.
  5. In the Edit Roles window, highlight and copy (CTRL+C) the API Key.
  6. In ESMS, paste the key in the Integration Key field.


Setting up the Integration

  1. Log into ESMS.
  2. In Admin, choose the Integrations icon from the navigation pane.
  3. Choose MANAGE to the right of the application to be integrated.
  4. Choose CONFIGURE INTEGRATION.
  5. Complete the field(s).

    The Integration Name is primarily for your use. Only the Client ID, Secret, and/or Keys are unique identifiers specific for your organization.

  6. Choose CONFIGURE
    The app drawer located at the top left updates to include the newly-integrated applications.
