Labeling User-Defined Fields

Several windows in Equipment Management have user-defined fields. Before labeling these fields, we recommend you determine what data your business needs to capture. 

The following windows contain the same user-defined fields:

  • Rental Agreement Details Entry
  • Rental Invoice Details Entry
  • Rental Agreement Details Inquiry
  • Rental Invoice Details Inquiry

Labeling User-Defined Fields for Rental Agreements and Rental Invoices

  1. Go to Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > Sales > Sales Order Processing.
  2. Select the User-Defined button.
  3. In the Sales User-Defined Fields Setup window, enter a label for each of the following fields. If the user-defined fields are not defined in this window, then the generic label is used (List 1, Date 2, Text Field 3).
    • List 1
    • List 2
    • List 3
    • Date Field 1
    • Date Field 2
    • Text Field 1
    • Text Field 2
    • Text Field 3
    • Text Field 4
    • Text Field 5
  4. Select OK.
  5. Close the Sales Order Processing Setup window.
