Use the Equipment Pages

The Equipment page lists the equipment for a customer location. The fields on these pages are a subset of the fields in the Equipment window in Service Management.

View Equipment Details

  1. On the Equipment page, select the lookup icon for an equipment ID.
  2. On the Equipment Detail page, view detailed information, such as the equipment type, serial number, and warranty information.
  3. To view additional information for the equipment record, use the options in the Equipment menu to select a page.
  4. Depending on the permissions that are set up for you, you can view equipment details and any meter readings, call history, attachments, and notes that are associated with the equipment record.

Attach a Document to an Equipment Record

  1. On the Equipment page, select the lookup icon for an equipment ID.
  2. On the Equipment Detail page, select Equipment > Attachment.
  3. On the Attachment page, select Browse to locate and select an attachment.
  4. Optional: Enter a description for the attachment.
  5. Select Add. The attachment appears in the list of attachments for the selected equipment record.
