Setting Up Scheduled Maintenance
Setting up scheduled maintenance involves creating task groups, scheduled maintenance types, and scheduled maintenance classes. Task groups are made up of tasks and task lists from Service Management and are assigned to maintenance types. Maintenance classes are a collection of maintenance types.
- Select Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > Equipment > Scheduled Maintenance.
- Complete the following fields, as necessary:
- Default forecast in next
Enter the number of days. - Use Due Date
If marked, the due date is used to generate a SM Service Call ID. If the option is not marked, the system uses the current system date. If multiple records are selected, the system uses the earliest date.
